Paddle For MS a Huge Success
On Saturday August 7th, Mike Sandusky and fellow lake surfer Grant Kennedy set out on an exhausting 65 km paddle from Hamilton to Ashbridges Bay in Toronto to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis awareness and research. It took the pair 13 hours, 39 minutes and 57 seconds to complete the trek.
Not only were Mike and Grant successful on their paddle, but they managed to smash their original fundraising goal of $5000, and managed to raise over $7000!
It was a fun afternoon at the beach for Mike and Grant's families, friends, supporters and local surfers, as we cheered them in to the finish line. Congratulations guys!
