Living in Maine right now but hope to get back to Michigan where are some good spots to surf on lake huron on the US side preferably closer to the northern oakland county areaContinue

Anyone see the 12 footers that are hitting huron's SW shore fri night? It causes good waves to refract towards Bayfield with minimal wind (sometimes slightly offshore). Im expecting to see rollers.

Man the lake is doing some funky stuff today, i think i missed some waves with offshore wind at port franks this morning. tomorrow might be decent and saturday is solid on the lower coast if magicseaweed is right.

On the Michigan side all the ice is gone. Just waiting for the wind to cooperate...

Tere is still ice along the shore and you can see the ice floating about a 1km infront of Kincardine. If we get a north wind it's all going to blow back in again.

Might be another week before any one can ride in Kincardine.

Just trying to save you the drive. I'll post something once the ice goes away.
