A place for Great Lakes surfers to connect
The wind's pumping from the south east and it might most of the night. The map seems to be peaking at around midnight. Really, there might be a clean up - and my suit's still wet - Dan from the Beach said that he was just down there and there are waves right now. He's heading out early. I'm heading out early. Any one else in?

Permalink Reply by Darryl Spreen on December 30, 2011 at 6:09pm I missed out on the DP session, how was it? I made it out for a couple hours before it got dark tonight and it was still 3-4 foot. A bit messy, but nice to have some surf close to home... it's been a while! And after Kincardine the other day, Ashbridges felt like the tropics
Permalink Reply by jim on December 30, 2011 at 6:55pm It was really messy this morning. The sets at the peanut were really heavy and it was a bit of a mess getting out. I spent the first hour there. I then went way over by the dog park. My suit was still wet and it was pretty cold starting out. I really want a nice clean up day. Monday and Tuesday both look pretty good too.
Glad that you made it out today.
I miss the pier at Kinkardine. I really like that break.
